WI Sports Canada is inviting businesses, community partners and returning sponsors to support our 2027 cricket season. Through WI Sports Mississauga and WI Sports Hamilton, we are working to keep competitive leather-ball cricket affordable and accessible while maintaining the discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship and standard of play our players value.
Rising league registration fees, equipment costs and match-day expenses make that balance increasingly difficult. Sponsorship helps us meet those practical costs while building the quality of cricket—and the sense of belonging—that brings players back each season.

More than a game: a place to compete and belong
For our players, cricket offers a regular opportunity to be active, connect with teammates and focus on something positive outside everyday pressures. Players have told us that the competitiveness of our club keeps them sharp, focused and motivated. They value the chance to reset, challenge themselves and be part of a team.
In challenging economic times, keeping that opportunity within reach matters. We want players to be able to take part in organised, competitive cricket without losing the standards that make the experience worthwhile.

Our approach is built on players pushing one another to improve. We compete hard, support our teammates and expect a commitment to preparation, fielding, availability and sportsmanship.

We want to retain our best-performing players, give developing players the opportunity to learn alongside them, and build squads that are dependable throughout a full season. What your 2027 sponsorship can support
Manageable player costs. Community partnerships help reduce the pressure to pass every increase in club expenses directly to players. Our goal is to keep participation affordable while responsibly funding the season.
League fees and essential equipment. Support can help meet registration costs, cricket balls, equipment and replacement gear, alongside the practical expenses of match days.
Player development. A properly supported programme creates a stronger environment for players to prepare, learn from teammates and improve through competitive cricket.
Quality and player retention. Reliable resources and a well-organised season help us maintain standards and keep our strongest performers involved. Retaining that experience benefits both the team and players still developing their game.

Sponsorship opportunities can include business recognition on wisports.ca and club social media, brand visibility through club promotions, and agreed logo placement on promotional materials.
Just as importantly, sponsorship connects your business with an engaged local cricket community. It is an opportunity to support the people who play, follow and organise community sport in Mississauga, Hamilton and the surrounding areas.
We can discuss financial sponsorship, equipment or gear support, and other practical contributions. The scope of recognition and promotional activity will be agreed as part of the partnership.
