WI Sports Mississauga completed a convincing 51-run victory over SuperNovas CC, posting 160 for eight from 20 overs before restricting the opposition to 109 for nine.
After three early wickets left the innings at 14 for three, Ishan Khanna and Sibin Yohannan Kutty rebuilt with a crucial 102-run partnership. Their recovery transformed the contest and gave WI Sports a platform for a competitive total.
Sibin led the batting with 59 from 45 balls, striking five fours and two sixes. Ishan contributed 34 from 29 deliveries, including two fours and a six.
Amritpal Singh supplied the late acceleration with an unbeaten 27 from 15 balls at a strike rate of 180. Govind Srivastav added a six in a rapid six from two balls, while Navaneeth Suresh remained unbeaten at the close.
The defence was built on disciplined spells throughout the attack. Faisal Rao took one for 21, Amritpal Singh claimed two for 19, and Shubham Kumar collected two for 20.
Ishan Khanna completed his all-round performance with two wickets for 27. Captain Sandeep Prabha Sudha added one for 17, while Navaneeth Suresh conceded only five runs from his over.
WI Sports backed the bowlers in the field. Sandeep completed a catch and a run-out, while Ishan, Faisal, Amritpal, Govind and Shubham all contributed catches as Mississauga maintained control through the full 20 overs.
