WI Sports Hamilton closed its 2026 HDCL T25 Elite Division campaign with a convincing five-wicket victory at NCC Ground A in Niagara Falls. After being asked to bowl, Hamilton dismissed Punjab Royals for 102 in 21.1 overs before reaching 103 for five in only 14 overs.
Pali delivered the defining performance with the ball, taking six wickets for 24 runs from his full five-over spell. His early burst reduced the opposition to 18 for four, immediately putting WI Sports Hamilton in control of the contest.
Darrius Batoosingh opened with a disciplined five-over spell that cost only 20 runs, ensuring the pressure remained at both ends.
Dimitri Ramjattan claimed one wicket for 29, while Sandeep Prabha Sudha took one for 12 from three overs. Navaneeth Suresh finished the innings with two wickets for 15 from 3.1 overs.
Hamilton attacked the chase with purpose. Darrius Batoosingh struck 16 from nine balls, including three fours.
Dimitri Ramjattan added 22 from 19 balls to keep the required rate firmly under control. Sibin Yohannan Kutty then guided the team home with an unbeaten 38 from 35 balls, hitting five fours.
Sandeep Prabha Sudha was alongside Sibin when the winning runs were completed, leaving 11 overs unused.
The result completed a strong Division One double over Punjab Royals and showcased the balance of the Hamilton side: decisive wicket-taking, economical support bowling and a chase completed without allowing scoreboard pressure to build.
