WI Sports Brampton is celebrating Ishan Khanna’s recognition as the Most Valuable Player of the 2026 Peel Cricket League. Ishan finished with 48 points, scoring 211 runs and taking 15 wickets in a season that showcased his contribution with both bat and ball.
The award recognises an all-round campaign. His 211 runs gave Brampton an important batting contribution, while his 15 wickets made him a major part of the bowling attack. Together, those returns underline the value of a player able to influence a match in either innings.
One of his standout performances came in Brampton’s six-wicket victory over GTA Capital Warriors. Ishan took three wickets for 17 runs from four overs, then guided the chase with an unbeaten 58 from 31 balls, including three fours and four sixes. Brampton reached its target of 164 with three balls remaining.
That performance captured the combination behind his season: wickets to help set up a chase, followed by the composure and scoring power to finish it. His MVP recognition brings deserved attention to a strong 2026 campaign for WI Sports Brampton.
Congratulations, Ishan Khanna, on the Peel Cricket League 2026 MVP award. WI Sports Brampton is proud to celebrate your 48 points, 211 runs and 15 wickets.
